new Delhi. The Union Ministry of Culture has selected 100 monuments for the G20 events in the first week of December, including 25 state and UT monuments. India has got the opportunity to host the G-20. During this, marked monuments will be shown to the foreign delegates, so that they return to their country and inform the people about the monuments and branding them. Monuments from North India to North-Eastern states have been included in the selected monuments for the programs to be organized till 7th December.

According to the Union Ministry of Culture, the marked monuments will be illuminated for a week. The delegates coming from abroad will be taken on a tour of these. In this way, most of the monuments across the country will be marked sequentially. So that branding of these monuments can be done abroad and people living abroad can come to India and visit them. Due to which tourism will be promoted in the country.

Selected Monuments of States and UTs

Gujarat 10, Goa 8, Karnataka 8, Rajasthan 8, Tamil Nadu 8, Uttar Pradesh 8, Madhya Pradesh 8, Maharashtra 7, Delhi 4, West Bengal 4, Odisha 3, Telangana 3, Kerala 2, Ladakh (UT) 2, Assam 1 ,Andhra Pradesh 1, Bihar 7, Chhattisgarh 1, Diu (UT) 1, Haryana 1, Himachal Pradesh 1, Jammu Kashmir 1, Leh 1, Delhi NCT 1 and Uttarakhand 1.

All the monuments will be selected across the country

According to the Ministry of Culture, the programs will run for one year in the country of G-20. In this, major monuments across the country will be identified sequentially.
