How is a crash test done?
Crash tests of cars of almost all companies are done by NCAP. The dummy is used in the car for this test. This dummy is prepared like a human being. During the test, the vehicle is hit with a hard object at a fixed speed. During this time 4 to 5 dummies are used in the car. The child has a dummy on the back seat. This is fixed on the child safety seat. The rating is given based on how much damage the dummy caused, whether the car’s airbag worked or not, after the crash test.
