Eat 'gond' laddoos for energy in cold days, know its recipe

It is very important to protect the body from cold in the winter season. If this is not done, then many types of diseases like cold, fever etc. occur. In such a situation, you can make gum laddoos and eat them.

Along with maintaining body heat, gum laddus which strengthen digestion power are also wonderful in taste. If you are fond of eating sweets, then gond laddoos can be a great sweet dish in winters. Let’s know its simple recipe-


  • Gum (edible) – 1 cup
  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Cashew – 2 tbsp
  • Almonds – 2 tbsp
  • Pistachios – 2 tbsp
  • Watermelon seeds – 2 tbsp
  • Desi ghee – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1 cup

To make gond laddus full of taste and nutrition in winter, first of all cut dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios) into fine pieces. After this, take a thick-bottomed pan, put ghee in it and keep it on medium flame to heat. When the ghee becomes hot and melts, add edible gum and fry it. Fry till the color of gond turns golden brown.

After this, turn off the gas and take out the gond in a plate and let it cool. When the gond cools down, put it in a mixer jar and grind it coarsely. Now add a little more ghee in the pan and heat it again and put flour in it and roast it on medium flame. When the flour turns light brown, add coarsely ground gum, dry fruits and watermelon in it, mix and roast. After this, turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down.

When the mixture cools down, add sugar powder as per taste and mix it well. After this, take the prepared mixture in your hands and start tying their laddoos. As the laddus get tied, keep them separate in a plate. Similarly prepare laddoos of all the mixture. Leave the laddus like this for some time to set. After this store the laddoos in an airtight container.
