New Delhi / Pune. The accused person, who was detained in Pune in the case of threatening messages to Sanjay Raut, Rajya Sabha MP from Maharashtra and Uddhav faction leader, has now been arrested by the police. At the same time, this person has been identified as 23-year-old Rahul Talekar.

On the matter, the Pune Police said that, we have now arrested the accused person who was detained in connection with the threatening message to Sanjay Raut. He has been identified as Rahul Talekar, 23, and investigation has revealed that he has no links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Also, the accused Rahul has admitted that he was in an inebriated condition at the time when he sent the threatening message.

Here on the matter, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis said that, the person who threatened Raut has been identified and preliminary information has been received that he had threatened Sanjay Raut in an inebriated condition, further thorough investigation of the matter. Will go and necessary action will be taken.

Significantly, Rajya Sabha MP from Maharashtra and Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut had received death threats from the Lawrence gang. Actually he was threatened through a message. It was said in this, “Your condition will be like Moosewala. If you meet in Delhi, you will be blown up with AK 47. Salman aur tu fix hai.” Police is currently taking further action by arresting the person.
